PICARD Achille Emile Picard, Jr., born December 28, 1925, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2012 at 1:42 AM in the privacy of his home. Beloved husband of Mae Gendron Picard. Father of Michael and wife Patti, Darryl and Wendell Picard. Grandfather of Lyn Picard Bailey, Jamie Picard Booth, Michael Picard, II, Stephen Picard, Mathieu Picard and Paige Picard. Great grandfather Mikayla, Tristan and Landon Bailey, Montana, Sage and August Booth. Brother of Julie Picard Somme. Preceded in death by his father, Achille E. Picard, Sr. and mother, Gertrude Keller Picard, brothers, Alfred "Lou" Picard, Richard "Dick" Picard and sisters Gertrude Granatelli, Irma Picard and Bernadine Matherne. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Hahnville, LA on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Interment St. Charles Cemetery, Luling, LA.
