Wilson “Pic” Picou, 70 a native and resident of Cut Off, La. passed away on February 8, 2024.
Visitation will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on February 17, 2024 from 9:00am until service time. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am with burial at Cheramie Cemetery.
“Pic” is survived by his daughters; Amber (Amy) Picou, Lacy (Brian) Picou, Ashley Picou, Shawn (Cru) Gaspard, and Brittany (Reuban) Curole, grandchildren; Zack, Asa, Dru, Vayda, Adeline and Rhett, sister; Florence Picou Bradford.
“Pic” was preceded in death by his wife; Janet Cheramie Picou, son; Chad Michael Picou, parents; Olivan and Ouida Orgeron Picou, brother; Oliver Picou.
“Pic” was a proud United States Marine who served in the Vietnam War, he was a member of the Knight of Columbus 327, and a member of the V.F.W. Post 8538.
“Pic” was retired from Greater Lafourche Port Commission after being employed for 21+ years.
“Pic” was a jack of all trades, he enjoyed trawling, fishing, and hunting. “Pic” was an avid coin collector, He spent many years volunteering at the Cut Off Youth Center, “Pic” enjoyed his Wednesday nights playing Bingo.
