Rene' Augustine Hebert

Rene’ Augustine Hebert passed away on November 29, 2023, at the age of 97. He was a native of Larose, Louisiana and a resident of Mathews, Louisiana. He is survived by his two children, Nicolas Hebert, and Rene’ Hebert, Jr. (Marcia); his two grandchildren, Ashley Hebert Arnold (Chris), and Meagan Hebert Blanchard (Cody); and his four great-grandchildren, Toni, Jaxon, Drew, and Joey Arnold.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Antonia Pol Hebert; his parents, Alex Hebert and Veleda Barbier Hebert; his sisters, Agatha Hebert Badeaux, and Aline Hebert Barker, and his brothers, Thomas Hebert, Alex Hebert, and Lionel Hebert.

The family would like to thank The Broadway Elder Living and Rehabilitation Center and HOPE Healthcare and Hospice for their outstanding care and compassion.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 7th at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
