Emile Paul Guidry

Emile Paul Guidry, 77, a native of Cut Off, LA and a resident of Raceland, LA, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Larose, LA.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda G. Guidry; son, Dwayne P. Guidry (Tina); daughter, Robin G. Baye (Joel); grandchildren, Taylor J. Baye, Emma G. Guidry and Reid T. Baye; brother, Johnny Guidry and sisters, Rose Ann G. Allemand and Charlene G. Galey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emile J. Guidry and Pauline Kraemer Guidry.
Emile was a Vietnam War Navy veteran; Under Water Demolition Team; Navy Seal Team 1 veteran, professional diver and diving consultant. He was a member of the American Legion, Cut Off Fishing Club. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, gardening, family gatherings and cooking. He was his neighborhood handy man fixing anything and everything that needed fixing.
