Edward F. Picou

Edward F. Picou, 81, a native of Mozella, LA and a resident of Des Allemands, LA, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland, LA. Religious services will be at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Des Allemands Mennonite Cemetery.
He is survived by his daughter, Mary Picou; son, William Picou; grandsons, Tyler Ledbetter (Cassey) and Cody Ledbetter (Julianna); brothers, Gene Picou (Sam), Richard Picou, Luke Sellers; sisters, Lady Rousse (C.J.), Phoebe Sellers (Greg) and sister-in-law, Donna Sellers.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Tapp Picou; parents, Earl Picou and Hazel Sellers; brothers, Johnny Picou, Tommy Sellers and Hicks Sellers.
Edward was a Navy veteran and a member of the American Legion and Retired Senior Volunteer Program.
In lieu of flowers donation to American Legion Post 131 of Luling, LA. are preferred.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
