Earl Gene LeBlanc, 75, a native and resident of Houma, died peacefully Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013 with his two daughters, wife and his beloved Siamese cat, named Dog, by his side.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Falgout Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at noon Saturday at the funeral home, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Virginia Ann Miley LeBlanc; two daughters, Tyre Ann LeBlanc and wife, Ashli Richardson, and Jean Rene and Husband, Lewey Taylor; sister, Joan L. Denning, four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Jerome and Minnie Lee Coffman LeBlanc; and one sister, Judy L. Rembert.
He was a member of B.P.O.E., the Marine Corps League and the American Legion. He was an avid lover of hunting, woodworking, gardening and motorcycling. He did much volunteer work and was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Terrebonne Children's Advocacy Center.
