Danny Joe Harris, 69, a native of Arkansas and a resident of Raceland, LA, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, May 23, 2022 at Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland, LA. Religious services will be at 11:00 am with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Raceland, LA.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Borne Harris; children, Danielle Harris Robinson (Rob), Clarence “Scooter” Harris (Sondra), Tammy Harris Gibbens (Bryson), Heather Harris Boudreaux (former son-in-law, Jonathan), Sheila Le (John); grandchildren, Joseph, Ahren, Brianne “Sweet Pea”, Cullen, Christopher, Jonathan Jr., Simeon, Emily “Gracie”, Noah “LJ”, Ava, Shyanne, Braylon “Mouse”, Juliet “MiMi”, Addison, Jonah, Jamie “Lady Bug” Tyge “Dano”, Ezra “Dennis” and step grandchildren, Kaleb, Kennedi and Jada; sisters, Glenda “Glennie” McAfee and Judith “Judy” Hagins.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Elizabeth Harris; grandson, Demitry “Meechie”; parents, Mack and Sally Harris and brothers, Robert Harris and Virgil Harris.
Danny enjoyed fishing and coaching baseball. He was a member of Lockport First Baptist Church where he loved going to the services. He loved spending time with his family and especially his grandkids.
