Christopher "Chris" Dantin

Christopher “Chris” Dantin, 63 a native and resident of Raceland, La. passed away on October 27, 2022 with his loving family at his side.
Visitation will be at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church on Friday November 4, 2022, from 9:00am until service times. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00pm with burial at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
Chris is survived by his wife; Cindy Iver Dantin, children; David (Keli) Dantin, Sarah (Jace) Garner and Saydie (David) Eschete, Chris was known as Buddy to his grandchildren; Samuel Dantin, Luke Dantin, Myles Garner, Gil Garner, and Paul Eschete, brother; Durell (Kym) Dantin, sisters; Denise (Randy) Matherne, and Yvette (Jody) Dufrene, godchildren: Ryan and Brooke Dantin, aunts & uncles: Patrick “Pat” (Sherri) Foret, Evelyn (Wayne) McNamee, Ingrid Jones, and Kathleen Dantin.
Chris was preceded in death by his parents; Hamilton “Ham” and Nathalie Foret Dantin, godchild; Monique McNamee, uncles; Gene Jones, Earl Dantin, Archie Dantin and O’Neil Foret, Jr.
Chris was the owner and operator of Danco Machine Shop for 40 years, he was employed at Gulf coast manufacturing and a member of the Lafourche Fire Department for 30+ years.
In lieu of flowers donation are preferred to Lafourche Fire District #1 or LOPA
