Captain David Mott, 61, a native and resident of Larose, LA, passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021.
Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home, of Galliano, on Thursday, August 12th from 9 am until 11 am. A funeral service will be celebrated at 11 am with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery.
David is survived by his wife of 41 years, Charlene A. Brister Mott; stepson, Caroll Allen Duncan III; adopted daughter, Kayla Marie Mott; granddaughters, Destiny Leigh Duncan, Madison N. Silva, Mia P. Silva, Amanda Alicia; grandson, Daniel Seay and brother, Richard Mott.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Wilton and Marie Taah Aucoin Mott; brother, Clifton J. Mott Sr., sisters, Rena Mott Bouffaine, Margaret Mott Guidry, Carolyn Mott Dardar; niece, Ann Bouffaine Miller and nephews, Clifton J. Mott, Jr., Timmy Bouffaine, Joey Bouffaine.
